Ambassador Committee:  Meets the 2^nd Thursday of the month 8:00 at Sand Creek.  The ambassador committee is responsible for welcoming new members to the chamber.  They set up the welcome meeting and guide the new member into chamber events.

Residential Welcome Bag Committee:  Meets the 3^rd Monday of the month 9:00 McDonalds.  This committee visits new community members in their home and delivers a welcome bag from the chamber members with coupons, mugs pens and other promotional items.   This helps to familiarize new community members with chamber members and their services.  You can help on this committee by delivering, assembling, or soliciting for promotional items. 

Publications Committee:  Meets regularly throughout the year.  This committee is responsible quarterly publication DUNELAND TODAY. 

Public Policy Committee:  Meets the 1^st and 3^rd Friday of the month September-April) at 7:30 at the Duneland Schools Administrative Offices.  Committee meets for legislative hookup call and discusses the bills pending in the legislature.  The chair reports back to the board with information that is pertinent to the members. 

Partners in Education Committee:  This committee meets as necessary for the following activities:  Reality Store (March), Volunteer and Career Seminars (Fall), Internship Program (Summer) and New Teacher Reception (August). 

Membership Committee:  This committee was created to help the chamber staff identify and procure new membership.  

Marketing Committee: This committee will form to put on one Marketing Seminar this year to help our members address advertising and marketing concerns.         

Technology Committee:  This new committee will form to put on a Technology
Seminar that will help small businesses with tough technological problems.  Members will be available for light consultation for free. 

Dues Committee:  This committee's focus is evaluating the Chamber Membership Dues and determining what the market will bear and what value we add to the membership.

Budget and Finance Committee:  This committee works with the staff to determine the annual budget that is then approved by the executive committee and then the full board. 

Events Committee:  This committee meets the 2^nd Tuesday of the month at 4:30, location varies.  The purpose of the event committee is to plan chamber events such as The Annual Golf Outing, Party in the Park, Annual Dinner and Christmas Afterhours.  Members of the committee can help with as many events as they would like. 

Nominating Committee:  This committee is responsible for nominating businesses in the membership for awards for the summer awards banquet.  Meetings are setup within two months of the event in August. 

By-laws Committee:  This committee meets as needed to review the by-laws of the Chesterton/Duneland Chamber to ensure that the board and committees are responsible to them.
